I just got the same thing, probably because they are just updating it:

Primary Features Build Date: 30.11.0002 Vehicle Line: Mustang (S550) Engine: MOD 5.0L-4V DOHC SEFI NA Transmission: 6 Speed Manual Transmission-MT82
I'm inclined to believe Tony is right and it's just a place holder for now. That's seems a long time to be built considering a VIN has been issued. My dealer said to expect a November delivery.

It's probably a placeholder because they haven't scheduled it yet. Maybe because it's not OKTB yet...

Yours is working now on http://www.etis.ford.com/. I looked it up before.. along with everybody else's on here.
Mine just showed up on there this morning, also says 30-11-0002 but my build week is Oct-06-2014
That makes me feel a lot better. I just PM Tricia to see if she can get my actual build week.

I was kind of assuming that meant Job #2? But then again I'm still confused about that too.
I had this same number in ETIS for my car, which was just finished on Tuesday. I believe others with earlier orders also had this same number too.

This isn't necessarily true. Searching the internet for historical data on Ford's scheduling process uncovers the following rules:

(1) Dealers are lined up in a random order - this must have happened years ago since, as far as I can tell, the same random order has been used during each scheduling round on this model. First up on the list appears to be New England region dealers.
(2) When each dealer 's turn comes up they get their lowest priority number scheduled if they have an allocation and if the commodties are available to build that order. One allocation is used if the order is scheduled. If they don't have an allocation or their lowest priority number order is unbuildable they get skipped that round. If the lowest priority number is assigned to a stock order and a retail order the retail order wins. If one or more orders of the same type has the same priority number then the oldest order wins.
(3) This continues through many rounds with each round considering the dealer's next lowest priority order and allocation status until all buildable allocations are scheduled.
(4) If there are still enough commodties left to build cars after the all possible allocations are scheduled, dealer's without an allocation have their retail orders considered for scheduling using the same random order as above. These rounds are the only time a retail order with a higher priority number would schedule before a stock order with a lower priority number.

This is how the scheduling process has worked in the past. Of course Ford could decide to run a retail order only scheduling week, but I have seen no evidence of them doing that in the past.

As you can see, the priority number assigned by the dealer reletive to his other orders is the primary factor in determining when an order will schedule. If he places all his stock orders at priority 10 and all his retail orders at priority 11, all the stock orders will be considered first before the retail orders for that specific dealer.

We, as retail customers, have minimal influence on how orders are placed. A dealer can make your wait indefinite if he choses to do so.
Ah, right, I recall hearing that before as well. I think in my mind I must have tried to simplify it. The whole thing is complicated and hard to communicate effectively without a really long post.

If a dealer's 'number' is called, it picks their highest priority order that fulfills the current criteria and parts availability. If there are no retail orders at that dealer, it'll then pick stock, assuming they use the std. pri10-19 for retail and pri 20-29 for stock (which is what my dealer said they do).

But assuming a dealer has retail orders, I bet most of them play by that standard to keep their customers happy. It's probably rare that they bump a stock order priority to jump in front of a retail order, but still possible.

I am pretty sure my dealer told me the week of the 27th for mine. Either build or maybe just to get scheduled... crossing fingers

Possibly the 29th? If that's the 'Scheduled to Day', then that's likely the day they expect it to have been finished being built. It's the only date my dealer seemed to have available that he saw, so that's probably the date you're referring to.

Likely it'll be built on the week of 9/22 then.

I'm still hopeful that I'll get my car by Halloween. Weather is still pretty good around then, so crossing my fingers we make it.

What is required to access the FordEtis info? Where do you click to get info there?
