Others have said this is not true. The priority number does not reflect the order type. Stock orders can be placed as a 10 and retail orders can be placed as a 20. It is up to the dealer how he uses the priority field. It has been customary for some dealers to use 10-19 for retail, but it is not set in stone.Stock orders can't be 10. They're 20-29 only. Retail are 1-19 (although the dealer can't assign below 10, only Ford can)
The dealer can actually set any priority number between 10 and 99 for any type of order. 01-09 are reserved for corporate and regional use. 01 is normally used to expedite a replacement build if a car is destroyed in shipping. 99's won't schedule.
