Fine, then the fourth quarter launch of the 2015 Mustang Convertible will be right on time just as long as it hits the Dealerships by Mar 21 when Spring arrives, right?

Nope. They didn't say "winter". The 4th quarter ends on December 31st.

Realistically, no one thinks the cars will hit as late as November or December 21st. People just need to remember that ford never once said they would be here "late summer" or "early fall". They just said fall.

True, but you have convinced your self that that means "as soon as fall gets here". Try not to assume more that what a company says. They have a lot of control over what they do and don't say if you haven't noticed... There is a reason.

SVTFreak is right. More over the official statement on the website said "late this fall" That would be November-December. If you decide you want to assume more into that like you did with the "fall" arrival, at best that would be november 11 since that would be the start of the second half of the fall making it "late fall". Anything sooner is better than we were "told". But yes if they didn't sell the car until December 20th they would still be within the range they set.

And no, fourth quarter is October to December. The fourth quarter of the calender year. This has nothing to do with seasons. So if the convertibles don't arrive until March, you'd have every reason to gripe.

Actually, no fiscal 4rth quarter ends September with October beginning the 2015 1st quarter on a business standpoint. Going by calendar quarter, that is Dec 31

I think you may be taking two different statements and combining them. I believe their official lines were "Late this year" and "This Fall." I'm open to being corrected (with proof), but AFAIK they have never been as specific as "Late Fall."

I'm pretty sure I'm not. But I suppose I could be. I read it several times to make sure I got it right when I started planning financially for this purchase. It was on ford's official sight when all they had was a bunch of pictures of the 2015 and a few comments about what had changed... Not sure I could find it now But I'll look and edit this post with an update if i find it.

Are you referring to when the Fastback/Coupe arrives or the Convertible? You know, there are (2) Body Styles. If the Hardtop arrives in late Oct or Nov, the Convertible will arrive with the "Robins" in the Spring of 2015.
