I hope you're wrong too. That would mean a 4-7 month wait for anyone ordering now, which would be absolutely ridiculous.

If job 1 retail orders will start arriving in November, its not far fetched that it will be January.

Has anyone here noticed the media or magazines have not received their test cars? That just give me the feeling that it pushes dealer orders/special orders back. Bwe will not get them until they hype up the consumers.

I wouldn't panic about the lack of reviews right now. Now... if we still don't see any hands on stuff by late September that's another story... The vehicle just went into production and given how the interior/exterior build quality of the pre-production vehicles were off (hard plastics/misaligned hoods/etc) - it doesn't surprise me the media hasn't gotten access yet. You know Ford will want the media cars match the quality of the production vehicles for any big reviews. Ford is probably checking these media vehicles with a fine-tooth comb right now.

However I don't think it would be unreasonable to think that some publications may have already had hands on with the vehicle but can't talk about it due to an embargo. There's two pics of a Ruby Red GT + PP I posted on the Ruby Red thread earlier this month. I got those pics off Reddit's mustang site. The guy who posted them on Reddit claimed he had access to the vehicle since he works for a company that manages Ford's Media fleet... I checked that thread the next day to see if the poster replied to any questions. Those photos had been pulled and the poster went underground. So who knows - maybe the media already had time with the car and they're just keeping it a big secret.

In my opinion - late October to early November for Retail Order arrivals seems reasonable based on that Ford bulletin. I ordered my GT back in May (retail order) but I never once expected the vehicle to get to me before October. So the November time frame recently posted isn't a shock. Those who were expecting retail orders before that time frame were being way to optimistic; especially since it was well known that Ford was going to hold retail orders until they built the first wave of dealer orders.

Whatever the case - this will all be moot in a couple months when we've overwhelmed with all the professional and personal reviews on this site. ;)

My DIB PP Eco just showed up this morning on COTUS.....ordered 5/28.

Progress...yeeha! Basically it states In Order Processing and no VIN number yet...but at least now I can FIND IT!

For me too...VIN date...birthday!....I've got the candles ready to go

The wwwqa site looks like, as others said, QA for new releases of the Web page, probably used for UAT. I see they have fixed a few things in that version, like the packages now showing, and the "view additional disclosures" link now properly shows at the bottom and discloses the footnotes when clicked. However they still have not corrected the word "facile" under the picture and in the footnotes, which obviously should be "facsimile."

My Ecoboost ordered 7/11 with a priority code of 10 finally showed up, but only on the http://wwwqa.cotus.ford.com just today. I've been checking daily. Says in processing.

Order timing update on LE

My dealer provided an update on the LE build. The report shows 9/22 no longer 8/27. But I also have a window sticker to. We are getting there!

I was told 9/22 back in the first week of July. I also got my vin the same day. Just never can find it on the build site.

If that is your window sticker your build date is listed above the word BLEND in the top left 120140825 - 08/25/2014. At least that was mine and Tricia confirmed that number is the build date. Perhaps there was a delay after the window sticker was created :shrug: If so, shouldn't Ford recreate the window sticker so it is accurate?

Why does it list "Rear Spoiler" as standard, thought it wasn't part of the deal?

Unfortunately, I just checked www.etis.ford.com and you car was not built on time. My cars Build Date changed from 30.11.0002 (the placeholder) to the Build Date once it was built. Sorry. I suspect you could just keep checking that site watching for the magic to happen.
