You traded towards the '15? You also have track pack and is it a premium and brembo, too? Mine is a total stripper. Either way, just like my sales price I suppose anything is possible 27k LOL.

Like they are literally listed for 26k brand new at many dealers http://www.wchesterford.com/all-inv...ype=new&&&sortBy=year+desc&search=Mustang+GT&
I am getting a '15 but wanted a daily driver too so I got the Focus for that, part of that is coming from a black car in a state where it rains every day for 5 months straight.

It has the Brembo brakes/wheels but not Track Pack, it was a standalone option in '13-14.

You got me thinking after going to that website, this place has by far one of the best available inventory of Mustangs I've found at least in the Southeast...prices still holding high too. They like to option the shit out of their stangs which a lot of dealers don't I've found here locally.

Thanks for sharing. :) I may have a small ulterior motive as well. My wife is from western PA and has family in the area. There is a good chance we may move there some day when we retire. Gives me an idea of the car buying process there. So thanks. I did have to crane my neck a lot though to see sideways. ;)

Glad we don't have tire tax and lien holder fees here. But your title and registration costs are less than here in Illinois. So thanks. :)

We may be friendly but I must politely say no thank you for the second part. ;) Don't be surprised if it hits the lot with that sticker on it, I know it sounds crazy. Most 2014's will be gone by the time of your trade in. Realistically at $1K under invoice (which is a good deal I say again) they really only need to clear about $1k more on your trade to "break even". That would be $24K. Do I think it will go for 30K? Hell no. Will they sell it for 25 or 26K? I wouldn't bet against it. I figure if they have 3% holdback on a 40.5K vehicle they have about $1200 to play with under invoice. You cut into that almost to the bone so that is a Hell of a deal. They will make up for it on your trade and a little more. Again that doesn't belittle your deal.

And thanks for sharing, I mean that. :D

Don't forget those prices are listed with Ford's $2000 rebate on them as well. Dealer gets that $2000 if they sell it so you can add the 2k onto the price. A used vehicle is given any incentive money from the factory to be sold. I know it sounds absolutely stupid that a car with 10K miles on it would sell at dollars under a new 2014 model, but its how dealers make money. Buying and selling on the private market is much more reasonable but inheritantly tougher and harder to pull off over the convenience of going through a dealer.

Again, don't think I'm busting your balls. Dealers have to make their coin and they will do it one way or the other.

Off topic, but what part of PA do you live in? I don't need to know exact location. Western PA near Pittsburgh?

A couple of those fees are going to be dropped because for example why should I pay a Lien fee when I don't have a lien? I paid cash for both cars. I'm not financing. And the tag fees will be taken off because I have personalized tags I'm transferring. I don't need new ones. I brought this stuff up to him immediately and he was lax about it and said don't worry it's not in stone we'll take care of it.

Cool. Just don't put an Eagles sticker on your car or one of those license plate surrounds. I'd have to end our "internet friendship". ;)
