Last we heard, the coupe and convertible will be staggered launches about 3 months apart, so it won't be too far off. Definitely should not have to wait until Spring next year.

For me, that pretty much does mean I will be waiting until at least Spring 2015 since I can't see any reason to buy a convertible in December. Thanks for the info.

Production of Mustangs at the plant also has been declining as Ford prepares to launch the all-new ’15 model this fall. Flat Rock is expected to end output of the existing model June 27 and launch the new version July 7, following a week of downtime to complete retooling.

I hope that is true. That would bump up the Job#1 date by a month from 8/11 to 7/7. Hope that information is correct.

This might just be me being paranoid but has anyone noticed that Ford's 2015 Mustang site now says "Available late 2014" ..... I think it used to say "Available Fall 2014" ? I wonder if things got pushed back?

And I was watching the video someone posted with the Need For Speed TV commercial showing the Race Red S550. It's a Ford youtube channel and the video description says :

On sale... as in order banks open... in the Fall? This would be very different than Fall availability.

You might be reading into it too much. On sale to me means this is when you can buy it.

I think dealers will have their initial orders for stock in before individuals place their orders.

I remember it saying "... late 2014" when I first went to that site over a month ago or so. I'm optimistic...I'm willing to bet that everything is still as planned (per OP) and may even be sooner.
