OK, FINALLY!

For those who are skimming and not reading each image individually, or who are searching...

P8C Fastback GT
44X Manual
PQ Race Red
401A Equipment Group
67G Performance Package (oops, cut this out of the pic haha)
43S Enhanced Security Package
68B Premier Trim CAG
91N Navigation
12A All Weather Mats

MSRP $42895
X-Plan $40260

I've already warned my dealership I'm going to be a bit OCD when this thing arrives. Also, pre-approved financing gives me room to negotiate. If I don't trade, hoping to get closer to $38K. If I do trade... I'll expect closer to $40K.

Either way, the wait has begun! Got to push the "submit order" button myself! :D

That makes it real :ford:
It's still sinking in.

I went ahead and got my custom plate so I could beat everyone in NC to it. 15C0Y0TE (NC requires an O to be a 0).

Years of waiting and hard work have paid off. It's awesome to be 26 and ordering your dream car. :)

Nobody knows yet! They've just started trickling out the confirmation emails (i.e. thank you for the registration, you MAY get a phone call in the future...). Think there's one dude in Switzerland that actually got a call - but I think their registration system was broke (he couldn't pick type of car, just leave a name and number)... We're living in suspense over here... we know NOTHING! (Apart from what the car approximately will look like, pretty much like yours but with dumbo ears and stupid rear lights :D)

Wow, Ford sure made a mess of that. Looks like they may have underestimated global demand. But, they may not be able to win back customers that were left out in the cold holding only an email for their effort

Okay, so it seems I may need some help here. I went to a dealership on Friday and they said they could not put the order in the system yet. They said they didn't know anything about their allotment, but that they could put my order in as a customer order and that it should be faster. I gave them all the details, and they filled out some forms with the options and checked in on the system to make sure it would all punch in without errors. After all that they took a fully refundable deposit and said they would put the order in as soon as they could, but it is not submitted, there is no tracking, no order number, no DORA, nothing.
After reading some of this thread I am confused as to how people have order confirmations and can track the status of their orders already. How is this done? How did your dealership get the car order submitted and what do I need to tell my dealer in order to get them to order mine and/or make sure the car is in the very first shipment out to Hawaii? Is it faster if I can talk them into making my car an allotment car instead of a customer order?

Thanks in advance. I have never ordered or purchased a new car before, especially one that is highly anticipated, and I live on an island...trying to mitigate anything that can slow this process down.

If it makes you feel any better, the online tracking system isnt pulling up any results for me either (order placed 5/21) but i did call the customer service number, they pulled up my account and they were able to confirm my order over the phone.
