First post - Lurking for a while. Just put my order in. Spoke with the Inventory Manager and he was very upfront and cool. He also said that the "Retail" orders will possibly be built after the first batch of "Stock" orders. Xplan pricing without a deposit.

Imo a ton of car for that price. I get how some want to maybe tune and get a loaded 2.3 but his to me the gt is the cats ass for them money.

This would be my toy car living in ne ohio I dont need leather only thing extra I would consider adding is recaro's since it would not be my dd. I want one real bad and but wold wait till i can get one to 2k off more when ford has incentives as well as iron out any minor quirks not that I think there will be any major issues.

oddly though my wife Is in love with a vette stingray but to me I think I would beat on a mustang more being say 35k vs 55k. I have a buddy that has a boss 302 not a laguna seca and that was more than enough fun much more than my evo x. This is the cheapest rwd v8 manual car you can buy and odds are it will run with the next m3 for 30k less. I cannot wait to test drive one.

I know this car is gonna be something special and I tip my hat off to ford for making a car that costs a little more than say a 180hp stripper bmw with a v8 putting over 420 hp:ford::hail:
