Congrats, what color did you go with again?
Went with black. Always wanted a black one. And I've only.seen 2 other people that have bought black. It was a tough choice, metallic looks amazing too.

Did it today. The dealer agreed to dead invoice, slightly below X-Plan. Very cool. Apparently it's their normal deal for factory orders. Two emails and done. Sign the paper and drop the deposit check tomorrow. It will be in his stocking order.

GT Premium Fastback, 400A, AT, Nav, Reverse Sensing, Spoiler Delete, 18" Foundry wheels. White with Saddle leather.

This will be the ultimate cruiser for my long daily commutes!

Well, today I "Offically" ordered my S550 (had to wait till pay day so I could make my deposit.) Ordered 2015 GT Premium / 400A / 20" Wheel Package. Got it for $500 under dealer Invoice. Now the wait
Any negotiation techniques that I can use to get below invoice? Or just luck

It's a Dance, Competition, Business, Trip to the Dentist, Battle of the Minds (Some say a War)-->:frusty:-->:censored:-->:headbonk:

Best advice, IMO, Keep this in mind "He has something 'YOU' want & 'YOU' have something he wants" don't be weak, he's not!!

Build your car before ever contacting a salesman.

Now you have MSRP.

With Ford get the X - Price.

Get the Invoice price.

Visit a Board (your already on this one) find out what others are able to get the vehicle at. Sometimes there is no wiggle room from MSRP (Some cases ADMs are on a hot car)...But find out what others are able to negotiate before making contact.

Get your number $$$, be ready to shop around (sometimes hundreds of miles) Get on the phone and start contacting dealerships.

Tell the salesman how you want the car built (Copy of your build in hand) ask him for "ONE" offer "NO BACK & FORTH CALLS" and it has to be at or below Invoice. Then inform him, if I call you back (after you have time to compare offers) then his deal is the winning bid. Call many Dealers, they are used to this tactic and see it everyday...It works + you don't have to drive all over the USA to get the right price.

Use Cars, Truecar, Autotrader & other sites for another tool to get an idea of prices in your area and surrounding locations...But, IMO, best place is on sites like the one your on now...

GOOD-LUCK-->:headbang:

www.cotus.ford.com is pretty cool. Here's my summary. Don't know much yet, but it's a start. The actual contact is Alan "The Champion" Lontteville, the Internet Manager. Great guys. My car turns out to be the first 2015 Mustang they have ordered. I like that.

So I ordered mine on 6/21.. and it still doesn't show up on the website. My dealership said "Yeah the order has been submitted but has yet to be scheduled for the build. It should take a while before they build it most dealers are submitting their own builds for their inventory."

If it was ordered, shouldn't it at least show up?

yes it should show up on the website. I ordered mine on 6/10 and it showed up on the website the next day. Now I am just waiting for my VIN and build date.....like a lot of people! I check the website more than my email. ;-)

How disappointing, I hope the dealership isn't jerking me around.

Depends on if the dealer ordered your car retail or stock. if stock it could be one of many on the order number and will never show until you have a VIN. If ordered retail it should show soon, perhaps today.
