I hope they just remove the the faux gas cap or just add a 50 year option to it. I hate it. I just like the straight GT badge or the mustang logo on the back. Its bloody stupid that we have to have the faux cap. Not happy

If you really cannot live with it, you can order a US panel from somewhere. It's just a few screws and a good pull to replace it. Some people in Europe already have a panel waiting. Same goes for the grille, though it is a bit more work to replace those, but still doable.

Totally agree. The GT logo straight on the back looks much better. If it is straightforward to change can we assume that it won't void the warranty. Ford Europe, stop ruining the car:frusty:

I have a new (twin set grill) GT look for my ecoboost - like the agressive look- and got the runing pony instead of the faux gas cap for the back which is great on my '66 (in fact on that car it's a real gas cap) but can't imagine to be great on the 2015... (My feeling, don't like 'faux' things in general))
If you order a GT at start grill is fine of course...

Sure there will be US drivers interested in buying my original EU faux gas cap back panel...(have a couple interested already..)

Bit daft that we will be 'modifying' our brand new cars in order that they look like the original US ones.

What are Ford playing at? In this day and age with all this social media, surely they should be employing someone or a whole dept that works out what their customers want.

This is what my dealer printed for me. Unfortunately it's black and white, but tomorrow I'll ask to send the detail on email to get the full color.

I guess it looks like a mirrored LHD.

Black & white prints are all they have, my dealer showed me the full bundle... even on these black & white prints the memory seat knobs are shown... so go figure :doh: nobody has a clue!

One of the dealers i went to speculated that the main dealership will receive a showroom car soon...

She could be wrong, but I'm waiting and see... Hope she's right so I can see what I'm buying... The national Ford website shows the car with red tail lights and no gas cap, the Gt and pony logos only! So judging by that, I bought a car with RED tail lights, not white!

Thanks Anthony! This is the first "real" euro Mustang on road! Clear tail lights, jumbo wing mirrors, faux gas cap, orang side reflector and fog light integrated in backup light.
Are the others all convertible and ecoboost?
