Nobody can see why the tri-bars should be turned off, there was no reason told by Ford. They just confirmed this:

That's not confirming they have been shut off. That link is just saying the daytime running lights have been moved next to the indicators as I said at point 3.

The Tri bars must be the sidelights otherwise we will have no sidelights in the UK and that is not legal.

This setup reminds me of the wife's cooper s where the DRL is located near the fog so the front light space is used for the headlights and sidelights.

CORRECT but other European countries get the recaro option but not the UK :(

Not getting them in the UK but are an option in Europe.

I'm still not convinced that's the final car and the blurb has been cut and pasted from elsewhere.

The one unknown I'm still worried about is whether Ford will produce a separate centre column for RHD. If not, moving the cup holders to the right for LHD will become a serious pain in the ass for those of us in RHD.. It sounds like an obvious one but I really wouldn't be surprised if this is a standardised part. Waiting to see final pics of a RHD and hoping ford make the right decision. addle:

Correct; they are still several months away from building RHD - which hopefully means we get 2016MY for the UK; I guess Europe will start with 2015MY as it looks like they will be built in the next couple of months for delivery in the summer.

The UK don't get any until "Q4" - which could be as early as October 1st or as late as Dec 31st...

I hope they do "mirror" the centre conslde for RHD, but I suppose how much it would cost to do that. We will find out eventually!

Think you may be pushing it to get a MY2016 version as discussed in other threads. As for the cost of switching the handbrake/cup holder section around that would be pennies in the grand scheme of things especially when you have Japan and Audtralia as RHD markets as well.

Do you refer to front tri-bars? Same here in Spain, when ordering mine, dealer told me that in EU will not be available by reason of applicable lighting regulations.

I think there is a bit of confusion going on and that the 'not available' or 'disabled' is related to them being the daylight running lights. They will NOT be on as DRL's, just the two small lights on the inside of the turn indicators will be on in that case. The front tri-bars most likely WILL come on as part of the main headlights. (As shown in the pictures)
