It will cost us a bit but we can bring it back close to the home config...

- Rear deckplate : covered, no faux gas caps... (www.newtakeoff.com)
- Taillights : what if we just replace the EU plastics with a US kit? What will the amber light bring us behind red plastics...(Red lights are OK anyway in Belgium as turnsignals) ebay
- Tri-bar DRL : somebody will work out a MOD...
- Mirrors : biggers are fo sure saver, guess we'll be able to buy US ones (might loose foldable feature)
- Gauges : this will be tricky and expensive...question is, are the electronics still present ? Only one would be possible due to vent hole locations..
- 3.55:1 - 3.73:1 gear ratio : Ford racing accessory
- Sync 3 : wait for 2016 model in EU

What did I forgot ?

Gauges are pretty hard. You need a whole new dash.
But I saw somewhere a gauge to put in the middle vent. Boost I think it was.

Idk if you can buy mirrors with BLIS, maybe from a mustang with that option included.
I for one just want the cosmetic and performance parts, the fancy electronics are ok to not exist.
Ugh you forgot the sequential tail lights. I know you can get it for 150$ but I'm not a fan of sequential brake lights, the rest are good. We already have enough stupid people, a sequential brake might make them even more unaware and rear end me. Also, I saw europe breaks with 2 lights and turns ORANGE with the third one. We want all three red and brake and turn ALL at the same time!!!
Untamed, we either get plastics and then add red bulb and seq circuit or get althe full tail light package will all included. Depends on the cost... Shipping and VAT kills it

US mirrors is not enough, BLIS works with radar sensors integrated in back side boby of the car. The mirror is only the part for alerting you. These sensors are used also for the Cross traffic alert.

Memory seats seems to not be in euro mustang: it's not reported in any brochures and the versions at geneva show doesn't have it (it should have 3 buttons on driver' side panel)

Pre-collision assistant is part of Adaptive Cruise Control, that we will not have. It requires a camera/sensors in front bumper and on the back of the internal rear mirror.

Obviously all these features requires in-car software support..

this probably means we won't get the dimples in the front and back bumpers then? (as that's typically where the sensors are?)

strange that they drop so many features and still charge such a "premium" for the car... (excluding taxes it's still more expensive over here than in the US right?)

While it is expensive and does not feature full premium options, I do consider that 35000 €(in my country at least) is not a huge sum. For that sum you can buy a Golf GTI with DRL and leather. And that's 100 hp less, FWD and in my opinion a damn ugly car.
In any case, you can't get a performance car better for this sum.

Same here.

ÂŁ33,000 for the UK-Spec GT may seem expensive to an American (about $50,800), but to us its a very respectable price tag. When the GBPÂŁ is worth 1.54x the USD$, $50k is affordable to someone in their mid to late 20s.

And yes, I agree with you that the Golf is quite ugly. :D I'd add bland and overpriced, too.

It seems to be a bit more complicated. (My conclusion would be ...:)

a. We keep the Euro lights
1) There are no bulbs but 1W High power LEDs in each taillight segment meaning it's a software or kinda firmware that's is defining the color (in EU) depending on the order it get's from the dash.
2) We need somebody to program a MOD to activate the third LED in RED when braking.
3) This MOD could also be programmed to give a RED color as turnsignal instead of orange (allowed in BE).
4) An other MOD option could be sequential at turn.
5) We keep the white plastics (might be ok with some car colors)

b. We buy the US taillights
1) We spend $1600 for a pair !! (Guess we'll better wait and check ebay for accident cars...)
2) We end up with a US kit.
Q: Will the there be a PIN match US/EU ? The elecronic is in the light...Will it lit up all 3 lights at brake ? Will it remain sequential ?

The saga goes on....

No way 1600 for a pair!!!!! If there is a seq mod already sold by idk what company for 150, why can't we use that?
I am also thinking of tinting the tail lights or paint them red or some sort.
Why software for LED? You could buy Red LED and replace the Orange one. And with the seq circuit turn it like USA.
The only thing left would be the color of the taillight.

This one.
I have a friend who can bring some parts from the US without customs and other stuff, but he says it doesn't work on all parts. IF the tail lights and mirrors and etc can come and if he can bring a bigger number, I can try and send them to the rest of the EU, as there is no VAT/customs between us.
Again, a very very very big IF and we have to wait for the car to be delivered :)

My guess is they are using RGB LEDS meaning a LED can change color.
Don't think there are RED LEDS and ORANGE LEDS (don't think this even exists) in the outer taillight segments....that's why the color needs to be regulated in a way...

Changing the lights on these cars will become very popular I feel. It was easier for Ford to make "ONE" EU model even though MANY countries have different regulations.

It seems the backwards lighting unit as used in the US should be legal here. Not sure about the sequential turn signals though.

Idk man, I have at work a light gun which has three different colors, Red Green White, each color has a LED, and each with it's housing.
