Anyone at the public Detroit Auto Show?

I would like to see the competition orange Mustang that is supposed to be at that show. However, they might not have it yet. Can anyone confirm if its there or not yet? If it is, a picture would be nice

I have a friend at the show right now and he's only seen the Race Red and Triple Yellow cars. Scouring the web hasn't produced anything yet. Jarstang said in the sightings thread it would be seen in Detroit.

Didn't a few cars get moved in and out during the media days? Maybe it'll show up later. The show does go until the 26th so plenty of time

He just said they also had a gray (I'm assuming Magnetic) vert. No CO to speak of.

It's a drive for me and I dont want to have to go every day just to see if it is there.

If it doesn't show then plans changed. This isn't a trade secret, they were quite open about it.

There's two different Ford displays, one in the ballroom and one in the main showroom. Make sure they check both. We were told the only thing they had not yet decided was which room the Competition Orange would be displayed.

Getting the red EB one is better than nothing, but was hoping for a GT . We'll settle for that .

FYI, today at Barrett Jackson the Ford reps told me there are currently 7 hand-built cars they have for showing the public.

You sure only 7? Right now there's 2 at B-J, so far 3 at Detroit, and 1 at Montreal. That only leaves one more.

Look at the calendar it's going to be packed with overlapping dates. There must be more show cars right now.

I posted this in another thread yesterday. While watching the televised portion of the event a Ford rep at Barrett Jackson said there are currently 10 prototypes.:shrug: If there were 7 at one point the additional 3 would be blue, yellow and black so 10 it is.
