Helping a friend with a 2015 GT non PP mt82 car who just installed a ProCharger kit. A few years back he added in the Performance gauges and all has worked fine (enabled by VMP). He is now tuned by Lund for his ProCharger and no matter what configuration they have done in the tune he either has :
1. no dash gauge but normal readout on IPC
Or
2. low oil pressure on the IPC screen but great oil pressure (that does fluctuate as normal) on the PP gauge.
they told him now that they’ve tried every combo and it’s not working so it’s on his end, but prior to uploading the Lund tune everything worked fine! (Not sure what vmp manipulated)
after some digging I realized his IPC had way more stuff in the gauge details that I don’t have on my 2017 GT PP. he had vac/boost, trans temp, and oil pressure in addition to the normal stuff (voltage, afr, oil temp, iat, and cht). The IPC was almost like had had an automatic ecoboost.
I was able to change the as built in data to remove the trans temp, boost, but I can’t figure out how to remove the oil pressure line. my performance pack only reads oil temp on the dash and oil pressure on the gauge, it doesn’t say oil pressure on the dash, so I’m wondering if that’s apart of the problem.
anyone know what line I need to manipulate and what value I need to have for this car?
first picture is what my untouched performance pack 2017 looks like
picture 2 is his car after I removed boost and trans temp reading.
thank you
