2015 Ford racing handling pack

Does anybody have any experience with this package:

I bought a non PP Mustang and am looking to upgrade the handling. Or what would some other options be?

I would also like to know about this, I've FRPP stuff before on my old fox and it worked great. I'm just wondering how this stands up to Eibach or Maximum motor sports.

Would this be an upgrade to the PP package or just the base GT?

would be an upgrade to even the PP GT. The only thing you wouldnt put on a PP GT is the toe links since those are the standard ones on the PP

I have a question about the shocks in the Ford performance package.. Are these shocks JUST re-valved stock GT shocks? Anything more to them than that..?
I'm tired of waiting for Koni's (and what they may charge!)..

I have several questions here:

- Does this change camber? How much?
- What wheels and tires would pair well with this?
- Do Ford dealerships install this? Have they in the past?
- Should I install this myself if I can get access to the tools, am not an idiot, but have never done car work (but have used lathes, welders, and pretty much every "construction tool")?
- What are warrantee thoughts on this? (Yes, I read the sticky in the engine tuning forum) Do dealerships complain about lowered cars when servicing drive train components?
- How does this compare with the PP suspension? Rougher? Tighter? More "on rails"?

I like the package, the pricing, and the fact that its all Ford stuff may ease or alleviate warranty issues, but all this is for not if the dampers aren't improved over stock. A simple coat of paint and tune of the factory shocks aren't worth it. If its a higher duty part with a damper warranty than that's a different story.

Would love to see a third party review of install and test on it.

My dealer quoted $550 for the install plus $89 for an alingment. Might possibly need
a camber adjustment for an extra charge.

Can anyone verify if what madsedan is worried about is true? Are the dampers just the PP dampers wit a paint job? Perhaps [MENTION=7992]FordService[/MENTION] ?

.........and while we're at it, are the sway bars tubular or solid?
They *say* a 1.0" drop, is that all around? I had seen on another thread here the drop up front was around an inch but the back was more like 1/2 inch..(?)

I agree. But the dual-rate springs are also concerning. I mean, just look at the travel left in the high-rate section - there is hardly any travel there!
Too bad it is not a linear spring package. If it were, then it still might be a good deal if we only had to buy a pair of better rear shocks.
