I just called them and they indicated that it will still be possible to order a 2015, with the 50th pack, after tomorrow. I hope they're right. Sometimes the internet finds things out before the dealers y'know? It's not the end of the world if I can't get the 50th pack as it sounds like the 2016 will have a different package with similar accessories (grill at least). But I do like the long heritage of the Mustang and it would be nice to have a car that shows that.

In any case I'm also considering just saving five grand and getting non-premium trim. Final decision will depend on seeing the interior in person this weekend.

Its entirely possible.
Ordering for 2016s starts on the 11th. They'll finish builds in progress and scheduled and then shut down for a couple weeks, do the switchover, and start building 2016s on 8/3.

Five Oh Brian stated in the 2016 Mustang Changes thread today that you have less than a week to order a 2015. So, do it ASAP!

8/3 is when production starts. You would be about 5-6 months out from your order date.

I would recommend building your ideal car on ford.com and searching 'extended inventory' and seeing what is in your area. If you find the one your looking for ask your local dealer to try to obtain it for you through trade or let him know this is the only one you are interested and get the dealers info that has said car.
