2015 EB Remote start question

Hi, I just got a new mustang ecoboost China model (2.3T 6AT). unfortunately there is no remote start system with it. Could I add some OEM parts to active this function?

If it's an auto, it's definitely in there.

Check your key fov, see the 2x? You need to lock the car first, then hit the 2X button... Twice.

I thought that something was wrong with the remote starter of my Mustang too until I read that you have 1st to push the lock button. :cheers:

But the real problem is...there is NO 2X button on my key.... As I know that Ford deleted this function for all China models with no reasons.

Weird. That's not even a MT style key fob, as it's also missing the panic alarm button.

I did send your question to @FordServiceCA on twitter and will see if you can get an answer if there is a OEM part for your Mustang. You can buy the Mustang key on Ebay.

I will follow up with that. It is interesting to see what Ford delivers to other countries. That's for sure.
