Do all models with automatic Trans come with remote start or just premiums? Any chance there's remote start on any with manual Trans also?
It's freaking cold here and it's a necessity! I can live without the heated seats if I can just start it ahead of time from inside by the fire.

Correct. Remote start is only on the auto (all automatics regardless of engine) and not the manual.

Curious that it's not even an option on the sticks. I've read they've gotten much better in recent years. Seems like with all the electronic nannies nowadays, most modern sticks should be able to detect parking brake actuation and being in neutral I would think it would be very easy for an OEM system.
It is highly recommended to not leave the car in neutral while parked. You're expected to put the car in first gear and parking brake on.

Corect you should never park a manuel in neutrale. Ebrakes don't hold well in reverse.

Oh my goodness, I must have been really out of it last night! Would blame drinking or something, but I really do not do that.

:headbonk::thumbdown:

What I meant to say was was that it was available on ALL automatics, not manual! Thanks for the corrections...

That's what chocks are for. I assumed everybody who has a manual used those whenever they park their car.
