I leave from new Orleans back home today and plan on Monday to send an email to the dealership GM and call Ford.
For some reason in Chicagoland it seems very hard to find a good Ford dealership! My dealer before this which I purchased 5 vehicles from scammed me out of a 2015 gt350R which I gave them a deposit on this car way before the car was able to be ordered. Have receipts etch and never got my deposit back. And then they would not even move the deposit to a 2016 or anything else. Down right thieves.
2nd dealer did similar but at least gave me my $5k deposit back literally after 3 lawyer calls and 10 months later into this year.
Last dealer I ordered the base because I could not stomach losing the deposits and he wanted $1k down. Car came and delivered. Car has been awesome until they put the splitter on and all hell broke loose.
And all these deals have been ADM so no excuse from dealers I got a deal.
Just seems to be too many thieves in business.
In my dealerships sort of defense. The service manager created the problem and the GM did try and fix it? Could this been good cop bad cop. Maybe but just horrible and not excited anymore about this car.
Like I said I think Ford may have lost ALL my business.
I work for a manufacturer that sells direct and dealer channels. And we hear about customer neglect and bad service or ? And we step in and try to make the customer happy because we do not want the brand tarnished. Ultimately it is the brand that suffers. So manufacturers got to understand that they may need to intervene and if a certain dealership just performs bad they need to REMOVE that dealership for the best of the brand but most corporations won't do it because at the end of the day it is about the money. Just sad.
