2014.5?

I was reading an article from 2013 and it mentioned a special 2014.5 edition was planned for the 2015 Mustang. Doing some googling and searching the forum I can find many mentions of this but nothing past 2013. Did this become what we now know as the 50th anniversary edition?

Yeah, the 50th Limited Edition (1964 fastbacks in either Kona Blue or Wimbledon White....plus one convertible built for charity) was as close as we got to that 2014.5

Although it's a great color, I never understood why Kona Blue was offered on the 50th LE. Wimbledon White and Poppy Red were the two most widely advertised colors back in 64.

That's what I thought just couldn't find anything that directly linked the two. I was also thinking it would have been a nice idea for the 15s like mine that were built in 2014.
