Bummer. Wanted to order the hood struts today to try to get them installed over the holiday but just realized your sale doesn't start until Thursday! Guess I'll have to patiently wait!

Thanks for the sale guys! Great deal!

I was just checking out the three different quick lift systems on your website. Will you please let me know what the difference between each one is? The descriptions are very similar on each.

I believe for 6G Mustangs it's either the Plus or Elite, the Plus struts are black and the kit has a 4 year warranty, the Elite are polished stainless and has a 5 year warranty.

Otherwise, the lifting mechanics, install, etc., are the same.

Is that the right photo for the 15-16 mustang? Those brackets look huge compared to what people have shown installed...

Just bought mine and received them last week. I bought the Plus and the install was super easy. Only thing I would add to the instructions is a wrap of painters tape around the the nut you remove will keep the factory paint from being damaged.

It helps to have someone to push up on the hood when you connect them, but it isn't necessary.

What is the "battery box mod"? I was under the impression these were all factory mounting positions and that nothing need to be modified (or cut). Is that not the case?

The only thing I don't like about these is all the wording and what not on them.

You're probably looking at the Ford Performance ones. They use a smaller contact plate on the hood. Redline and Steeda both use larger contact plates, which are much better at preventing flexing of the hood.

I have Steeda and love them. No offense to Redline, I just didn't see theirs until after I bought the Steedas :)

The battery box cover has to have a 3/4 hole drilled in it and if you want to remove the cover and not the strut a small slit to allow it to come off (otherwise you can just rotate the cover out of the way or pull the strut off. Redline sends a unibit and a plastic template to locate the hole.
