I'd do both. The added boost will keep midrange and the larger runners will improve top end. Win Win.

If I could only do one at a time I'd do the pulley first. That will be the biggest gain.

RE: 93

Only way to know is to try it. Knock sensor should pull timing if the fuel is not up to the job.

In my last post I was assuming you were on E85.

With 11.5 compression I can't see 93 holding up to 6 psi boost. I would think it is already pulling timing. Do a log then up the octane to 96 or above and do another log. Look at the timing numbers.

E85, or something like VP 104 unleaded, might bump the timing to 23 or more.

I believe if you up the boost the timing will fall to 10 or so.

But the only way to know is to try it.

Getting parts put on in 2 weeks. Final verdict? Mani or pulley down? Im am limited to 93 octane at the moment but can run torco.
Steeda has the 18 manifold for $345 shipped. Best price I’ve seen on new ones to your door. I found a used one in the marketplace but you’ve gotta keep an eye out, they sell fast when priced right. I’d throw the manifold on and see the difference at 10 psi before I threw more boost on it. Because if it makes more at 10, it’ll make even more when you pulley down.

Could opt for a ported mani too for about 200 more...boosted applications get even more out of it.
