The fit man, the fit. On the trunk that is.
Car is covered for the season, I might pop it open on Saturday as the temps are hitting 60 here So I'll pull it out and test fit the trunk, if you get to do it before me, post up.

Mine is here and initial impressions are that the spare is great quality. I will test fit it if the weather cooperates. I will test for fit and fuction.

Edit:
If this wheel does what it says it is supposed to, this is a must have. So far I am impressed.
I await your fitness and your welcome for pointing you in the right direction my Mustangian 😁

As you know this was one thing I was focused on with the two companies since last year, but AA seems to have crossed the finish line.

Update:
I'm about to head out and test fit the wheel on the front and rear as well as the fitment in the trunk.

If I like what I see, I will take it for a spin.

So far, the rear will not clear the caliper without the provided spacer. I'll update as I go.

Yours being a CFTP might be different, read the install pages that are attached, mine clearly says its for the front wheel, but it might be different for the CFTP

I took her out and drove it for about 3 miles. Nothing to report. All is well. Now to test fitment in the trunk.

It fits. Tire was verified at 60psi.

Thanks Tom, I am going to be borrowing your pics to post elsewhere as proof it fits (all credits to you). BTW did you get the whole kit of just the tire/rim like me? Cause i dont see the jack and lugnut wrench in the photo.

I like to disassemble things.
Tom, how much caliper to barrel clearance were you seeing up front? It looks close in your photos but I'd like to hear what you saw.

If I was to guess from the pics he posted (which I said it was real close) I'd say 4-5mm. But I'd also like to confirm spacing.

Its very much like the OEM CF wheel. Around the outer portion of the barrel it is tight, but has more room than the CF wheel. The barrel has a contour that gives much more caliper clearance. If I was stuck on the side of the road, I would have zero issue using this wheel. I plan to throw it in my trunk and only take it out on track days.

My only thought is that this tire is to be inflated to 60 psi. I would imagine the pressure would go up significantly if the tire was driven for an extended period or long distance. If anyone wants to pick up the ball from here and research if 60 psi is not an issue, and tollerances are accounted for in the event the tire heats up and the pressure increases, that would be great.
