2 things to fix...

So this weekend was a fun one. Installed MBRP race exhaust and I am enjoying it so far.
In this process I managed to scratch my subwoofer in the trunk (factor B&O) with one of the metal exhaust pieces. I can post pix if need be but what can I do to try and minimize the look to hide that imperfection now?

Also it seems I got red bird etching. It happened today and it was only there for a couple hours. Wiped it off and still have a reddish outline. Tried some wax/compound and it did nothing. Any tips or tricks? Car is white so it shows up nicely.

He means berry poop, basically. If it has a color it can be removed still, you just need some bug and tar remover and scrubbing action. A couple hours isn't a huge deal, as long as you get it same day you should be alright.

yeah that’s it. I got it same day, still has the outline but I cleaned it all off. I’ll probably need it to be buffed.

Any ideas on removing that scratch from the plastic?

Some kind of polishing rouge would probably work on the plastic to minimize the appearance of the scratch. A wet dryer sheet may help with the stain on the paint as well.

It's very mild, get some pads, do it manually, I bet it will remove that mark. I used it to remove blemishes on a black car from fireworks, and they came out perfectly.

I'd have to see the scratch on the sub, my first inclination would be, "out of sight, out of mind", but maybe you could do something creative like some vinyl wrap?

If the plastic is textured, you'd be out of luck. I test-drove a Bullitt yesterday, and ALL THREE were badly scuffed on the door panels, seat base, door sills, the knee panel, AND the freaking seats. Geez. Looks like the stupid people moving the cars were wearing steel toes and rivet jeans. No way I'd buy any of those cars at any price, so will have to search nationwide. Oh well.

Yeah, unfortunately the plastic Ford uses is pretty prone to scratching. I've successfully removed feet scuffs from my driver's door but those weren't deep at all.
