Yea. I ended up not really liking my choice that just came in, but I think I might use it for now, and put in another order.Damn 17 weeks....thats a LONG wait!
Ok...........got it. I was thinking they weren't going to just ship them to my house. So I will look for this slip. Still waiting..............Thanks for the response dirtyblueshirt.
5 MONTHS ?????? WTF? :headbonk::headbonk:Almost 5 months for me..and they got it wrong.
From my understanding, personalized plates always have to be picked up in person; Sequential plates generally can be mailedOk...........got it. I just checked my credit card statement & I ordered 3/14 so today is beginning week 13 for me too. Maybe a San Diego jinx? :shrug:I'm in week 13 and still waiting..URG!:headbonk:
Custom plates go to the "Romeo Niche Line" @ Folsom State Prison. From my understanding, personalized plates always have to be picked up in person; Sequential plates generally can be mailed
California DMV: ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

. Hang in there guys:headbonk:
You will have to trade in the plates you get for the personalized plates. It takes roughly 3 months to get the legacy plates. If you order legacy plates online the DMV doesn't know what car you have or whether the car is new or old.Do you have to trade plates for these custom ones? For example: I don't have my mustang yet, but I don't want to lose the chance for my personal plate name (My last name is Bay and I live in "the Bay")
Its gonna look super tacky driving a 03 Jetta with "XXXX GT" on it
