So I ordered my bumble bee plates last week of February and at this point don't have anything.

Does California DMV send you a slip in the mail saying your plates are at the DMV that you picked? At this point I'm wondering if my order went through. Guess I need to check credit card bill for $50.

You should get a small envelope with a card like this:

I am not American, and arrived late last year.
I have standard california plates and I wish to change them to black ones (idally also get a special number)

Do you know if changing the number is possible ? DMV site is not very clear

Once you have found a plate that is available, after you complete the order form online, you can join the rest of us in waiting about 3 months before you can pick up your sexy new black plates at your local DMV

However, just called and the soonest I could get in for an appointment is June 21st......:eyebulge:

I'll be the first in the door to DMV on Monday morning!!!! No more waiting:doh:
