I recently installed an Exedy twin disc, and was using the caliber cocktail. Shifts were buttery smooth but I've always felt a slight nibble going into 3rd gear. I switched to BG Synchro and started to feel the same you are describing. 1st and reverse have some friction. Now if I put in 3rd first THEN put it in 1st or reverse it feels good. I then added some BG additive and it feels alot better but still slightly tuff into first. I may switch back to calimer or straight Amsoil GL4.
