18 up Shadow Black paint color

Even better once you clay bar, compound wax and polish. On my 15 I had deep impact blue which got a lot of compliments at night. The shadow black on my 19 pops in the day and night. Love it.

My 18 has had nothing but spray on wipe off (fresh microfiber towels) quick detailers used. I like the Eagle One and Lucas brands.

I think ford were very crafty with the shadow black.

It looks black, proper solid black, unless its studied very closely - even then some owners still claim there is no flake in it ...

Why go to all that trouble for it just to look like black ? The only thing I can think is that in sunlight, the reflection of the sun as it moves across the panel causes a sparkle / twinkle in the glare that's bounced back at you.

Its very easy to see on my mirror caps (they are off the car) when you hold them in the sun and roll the cap around

Yeah there is a lot of flake/pearl in it. I did not notice it the first 6 months of ownership. lol.
