I'm not even an owner yet, but I test drove two '18s with power seats, and noticed a creak from the seat when I would apply the brake or gas. Sounded like it was from the seat base or track area but could also have been from the lumbar or the seatback hinge. Any owners notice something similar?

Admittedly I do put a substantial strain on the seat, being about one buffet dinner away from 3 bills. But the power seat in my 2011 seems to handle it without protest.

I'm only about 2 bills, but I don't notice a creaking sound from either seat. However, there is a noise from my seat back that I can hear if I move my back around. It's a very soft sound from the play in the seat back recline mechanism. Putting the air-conditioned seats on low is enough to block the noise out so I don't notice it when I'm driving.

A minor update to just say that I am an owner now, and I'm still having this issue with a "creak" or "click" or "crick" noise from the seat when I accelerate from a stop, or brake. If it matters, it's the leather seats that come with the GT Premium (400A).

With some experimentation I have found that if I recline the seat at more of an angle, the noise goes away, but I don't like driving laid back like I'm in bed. At least I'm confident the sound is somehow connected or related to the seatback recline angle. (Changing the seat position in the track with the power adjustments doesn't seem to make any difference to this noise, and changing the power lumbar adjustment doesn't affect it either.)

From looking more closely at the construction of the seat, it seems like when you place the seatback in a more upright position, the leather (or vinyl) surfaces on the lower seatback bolsters rub more on the plastic parts of the seat base and the recline mechanism. I tried working a piece of soft fabric down into the space between the leather and the plastic parts, where they rub together, but that didn't seem to help.

All this is basically just for future informational purposes, in the event anybody else with a similar issue finds this post. (Or in case Ford actually ever looks at posts on this site...)

Even if they replace the seat under warranty, I feel like the next one is likely to do the same thing (since I also had this issue when I test drove a different one).

I noticed one day that mine was creaking some after I used the lever on the backside of the seat to fold it down and then reset it back to position. After re-adjusting it with the recline lever on the side of the seat, the noise ceased. Haven't had it since. It was almost as if that backside lever didn't fully engage it into position, letting it have some play.

I just picked up an '18 about 2 weeks ago and noticed the same thing, and I'm about 230.. It actually creaks and rattles in a lot of places, with the most consistent sounding like it's coming from the trunk or in the rear body or suspension. It's got Magneride, so I don't know if that normally makes that kind of creaking.
