Recently swapped out my 2015 lower airbox for a new 2018+ w/o the stupid looking resonance bottle.
I have a Gibson exhaust with the dreaded 1800 to 2000 rpm drone.
After the 18 airbox swap I can honestly say the drone has reduced substantially. I've put a few hundred miles on and the cabin drone is definitely lower. Not completely gone but enough to post up this info.

Who knows, could be my hearing is just going to crap..... LOL

Any additional thoughts out there ?

Nah, you're likely right. Gibson exhaust here too and I did something similar. Still some drone... but hey lol.
