You haven't asked what his modifications are? Let's hope it is not a V8 F transplant. It is usually not smart going into a fight underestimating your opponent and even worst, not knowing what your opponent is bringing to the fight.

It was said to be a V6. I suspect it's the supercharged V8. If running for cash, the hood will be opened. Supercharged V8 is 550HP stock. He claims it's 380HP, and tune only. A good look under the hood will tell me what I need to know. He said he will leave me on the line spinning. LOL.

If running for cash, sounds like he is pretty confident and if he is the one that offered to run for cash, you can count on he has something up his sleeve. How long is the run supposed to be, 1/8, 1/4, 1 mile, until someone crashes.....of course, I'm messing with you on that last one. There is a lot of street racing not far from where I live in Colorado and interestingly a lot of cars somehow end up hitting a certain traffic light pole. They had help driving into it...as in dirty racer in the other car.

Be careful when racing for money.

If you start spinning on the line and he doesn't, then that could be a very true statement.

I didn't spin on stock P zeros at the track. Ran 1.87 60's. Now I have DR's & E85 tune.

That is amazing you didn't spin on the stock tires. Which DR's are you running now?

Just installed NT555RII's today. Seem to hook really well with Steeda's Stop the Hop kit. In drag mode testing earlier, just a chirp between gears.

The race would be at the 1/4 mile track. The kid who wants a money race is not the owner of the car.

Great...that takes all of the other things I mentioned out of the equation. Hope you win.
