18 GT stalled while driving?

This is on a 10 speed.

What could cause this? What should I check for? I was going about 20 mph turning into the e85 station, car bogged and stalled. I put it in neutral and it started back up. Now that I think of it, it did take a second longer to start up than normal.

Mods: PBD e85 tune, JLT intake.

It was about 30 miles to empty, I've ran it down to 1 mile to empty before (to switch from 93 to e85)

Were you in S and manual shift mode? Will the car stall if in say 5 gear and you come to a stop or slow down to the speed you were at? Like what would happen if you are driving a stick and leave it in a higher gear and no clutch as you come to a stop?

I know in mine if I am in S and manual shifting via the shift paddles, the car will not down shift as I slow down. I have yet to screw up and forget I am in manual mode while stopping and forget to shift.

There could still be a code. They don't always cause a CEL.

I've seen someone mention these cars can stall in a hard turn with low fuel. But it sounds like you had a gallon or two left.

Probable starve for low fuel. You ran the car down to almost empty. The reading may also be slightly off. :cheers:

The auto will not stall no matter what you try. If it does you need to get to the dealer.

same even in manual mode the car will downshift once rpms drop below 1000. it will let you hit the limiter though

Exactly. When I said auto I meant the automatic as a whole.
