Checked out several current Mustangs at SF autoshow.
I liked they have inside door panels and central tunnel cover soft versus hard plastic in my 17. That's about the only major difference I spotted on the inside. Visually these look identical to pre 18, but becomes obvious once you start touching them. These could be a DIY project to replace/upgrade by the way.
Front view from inside of the car - the hood is out of the way. Some will like improved forward visibility, but I preffer 17- hood. It is such a piece of character that I'd like to see and very often get complements from passengers.
Like a lot of others I disliked outside front view of 18+ . Mustangs at autoshow looked cool to me though. Not sure why. Maybe because they were all dark colored, clean, polished and nicely positioned, but I did not feel bad about this design.
And manual shifter seemed smoother to me, but that was in a standing car, so might be subjective.
Anyways, I decided it was time for some refresh for my '17 and pulled a trigger on power pack 2. The car is approaching end of 3yr warranty and I might just install it DIY.
