18 Convertible (PP1) extra bracing in rear?

I'm starting to crawl under the car to get ready for rear spring and Steeda IRS subframe bushing install and notice I have extra bracing not shown in any of the install videos. There are no instructions included on what to do. Is it as simple as removing the braces prior to the rest of the install steps?

Does anyone know the torque specs for the 15mm bolts that attach that support brace to the frame ?
