Is it possible to remove the engine cover without removing the strut tower brace first?

My guess, based on experience and wisdom imparted in another thread, that one about Sound Tube Removal, is No.

Isn't that a clever design? Can't hardly check the oil.
I took all that unneeded plastic off, battery cover, engine cover, sound tube. on the 18's that engine cover is so big, it keeps motor unnecessarily hot in summer months....

Tried when I installed my catch can. It won't come off with the brace bolted down.
That’s exactly what I’m doing and why I asked. Thanks!

I got the JLT version 3. Thank you for the info!
That's the one I got. It's pretty easy to reach up under there and hook it up w/o removing the cover.

FYI, you might watch it after install. Mine was rubbing on the front of the head. You can see the small scuff mark in this pic. I just zip tied it to the hose coming from the coolant overflow tank to hold it out away from the head, and it's been fine ever since.

Thank you for that info. I’ll definitely do something like that up front to prevent that from happening. That’s the only thing I don’t like about the JLT. It just hangs there unsupported. On my 12 GT the JLT lines eventually sagged enough that the unit sat on top of the radiator hose providing ample support.

They used that cover to quiet down the noise from the direct injection but I agree, it's massive. I miss the clean look of the early Coyote engines, designed to look good at car shows.

Get a Whipple so the cover and engine brace are gone. Problem solved :)
This is exactly what I did. Started to customize the cover and then I said, no wait, a Whipple would look so much better here.

Is it possible to remove the engine cover without removing the strut tower brace first?
I could not. I first modded the cover so I could remove without taking the top stabilizer brace off. Now I just keep it off. I do not think it is good to keep unbolting a support brace each time I want to remove cover.makes no sense.
Good luck

Why not buy a cover for resale and cut a cover so you can reach the dipstick better or removable without taking out the strut brace?
