Hey guys, what are the pros and cons of running a cooler thermostat?

I have noticed my fans turn on much sooner with my Lund tune.

I live in NY where temperatures can reach single digits at times during the winter. Would this harm the motor?

Hoping to get some direct answers so other members in the future can have the answers in one place.

Thanks guys!

I've seen this a few times. What's the gain from this? To keep the fans from coming on so often?

lower cylinder head temps = more resistance against knock/detonation.
