I'm sure they enjoyed driving it as much as the other cars, but they don't mention any of the others having diff temp issues. It probably is the car with the fastest lap time they've run w/o a diff cooler, not sure that's an award I'd be proud of though.
Beat the 1LE lap time from last year by 1 second and only 2 seconds off the gt350r lap time from 2 years ago, but differential over heated...

You forgot PDR. I agree after instructing in a 1LE on track even though I like the visibility out of 2018 mustang I test drove better. The base Mustang seats are better than C5/6 seats, but I like the Recaros in the Camaro much better. Heck I'd take a $41k SS Camaro with just mag ride and...
I can't help but think that Ford tuned it in to try and soften the hit to the 235mm tires that do not belong on a 460hp car in my opinion as I can't think of another example out there. Your C7GS with the same power has 200mm more of rubber in the rear and can understand the need for torque...
Yeah that's what I was thinking and surprised he'd be getting an alarm honestly, can only imagine how fast it'd be triggered on a triple digit day down here in Texas. I believe the '18 now shows actual temp and was also curious if he looked at the temperature when the alarm sounded and what oil...
Focus on being smooth with your inputs and build speed as you get familiar with the course/car. It's easy to overdrive the car and harder to unlearn bad habits, Godspeed!
I figured as well, don't suppose they'd allow the cai/throttle body from it to be put on a regular PP1. I wish I could get the cloth recaros with the A10 like with the PP2 option or previous year modes had though suppose it wouldn't be legal then.
I wouldn't, but I'm also a realist in the fact that there are people out there who are extremely competive and willing to cheat sadly. A question I do have for clarification purposes is if you swapped in recaro seats would that be illegal?
Assume it'll it be in FS like the standard GT, but was interested in getting others thoughts since it'll have more power though not the wider wheels/tires of PP2.
I agree that the gt350 intake manifold is a small portion of the gains on the Bullitt and the CAI/throttle body is probably the bigger portion. Though it hasn't been confirmed that the Bullitt is rated at 480hp as far as I'm aware only that it makes atleast 475hp, which Ford claims their Power...
