12 speaker Shaker that much better then base?

Ugh, had a base stereo in my 2010 and in my 2013 Boss .. They are horrible; the shaker rocks!

I prefer factory systems, because i think no matter how expensive your sound system it always looks like shit to me. Sticks out like a sore thumb. I'm no audiophile but I think it sounds amazing. Enough to have had to put some rubber between my license plate due to rattling from base.
