12/15 Build Date

Mine still hasn't moved past in production with a blend date of 12/17. Seeing all these other 12/17 blends moving to awaiting shipment and in transit has me anxious now.

Well, I got an amazing surprise this morning! My car was showing "In order processing", no window sticker, and Rachel thought it would be built in January but I just checked and it is in production right now! It shows EDD of 2/3/2015, but I have a window sticker link and everything! Im so excited!!!

Yours and mine are probably going to go down the line close together. I went into production today also, and it looks like our orders are very similar. Mine wasn't supposed to be built until the week of 1-5-15. I've been waiting since 6-5-14 for this day! Exciting times!! :cheers:

I'm with you as well! Scheduled to build January 5th, just moved to "in production" today with a window sticker link that doesn't work yet. EDD hasn't changed though with a February 1 date.

It does rock that your Mustangs switched over to "In Produciton," CompOrangeGT, BumpnRun, and DoCtA.FlAkE. They are still scheduled to build in January, though; going into production now means that they have been sent to the plant in preparation of building.

Factory Shuts down from 12/24-1/2 according to some other threads but 1/3 is a Saturday. Not sure if they would come back for one day and then off again that Sunday so they might not be back until 1/5 (total guess on my part). Supposedly the factory shutdown doesn't affect processing and shipping but I don't know if that is true.

It's my first car I've ordered so I was just wondering about order dates very close to each other. For example 11/07, 11/10, 11/13 and mine was on 11/11 and the EDD's do seem to vary greatly. Not complaining, just trying to understand the processes. Thanks for any and all info and hopefully our cars will come earlier than stated.

The estimated delivery dates differ based on the various locations that the orders are shipping to. The order date doesn't affect the delivery date. Please send me a PM with your VIN and I'll check on your Mustang's status.

mines say convoy as well and i am in Ga, thats a good question i have no idea .....

That may be referring to the convoy it takes to the rail car, mbarnes.

Blend date was 12/15. Still showing in production. :thumbdown: Hoping COTUS is being slow with my update.

Please excuse my ignorance on this matter. I noticed my window sticker says convoy and some other stickers say rail. I'm in South Florida and my dealer is in Daytona. Would they or are they going to convoy all the way down from Michigan? :frusty: Can anyone shed any light on this matter. A great forum by the way, very informative.

I am in VA and mine says convoy as well. Maybe Rachel can shed some light on the actual transportation means?

Well I refreshed it not expecting anything and now it says in transit! EDD went from 1/20 to 12/27 :cheers: sadly I still have to wait till the first week of February to pick it up :(
