12/15 Build Date

And my window sticker is up! Bammm! Blend date of 12/17 moderate disappointment but I will take what I can get. My name isn't on the sticker either which is a bummer.

That's pretty cool! I've always wanted my name on a window sticker...guess the order form will have to do...

It looks like our cars are on a similar schedule. I ordered on 11/30, got a VIN on 12/04 and just got my window sticker last night with a blend date of 12/17. My name is on the sticker as well. I didn't expect things to move this quickly.

Blend date of 12/16, but still EDD of 2/3/15........hopefully get it sooner than that.

Rachel says EDD 02/04/2015, but dealer say 12/25/2014.

I have a convertible also - your blend date is on your window sticker - top left center. Should be similar to mine: 120141217 meaning 17 Dec 2014.

I assume there's some level of QC that happens after which can also affect when they're finished. But if it goes on the line on the 17th and takes 2 days, and they shut down on the 24th then potentially it would be ready for transit prior to the plant closing.

It takes about 18 man hours to complete each build. The cars will all likely be ready to go before the holidays but that doesn't mean they will. I would think the 22nd and 23rd would involve getting cars out of the factory and tightening up the floor before they shut down. No cars were schedule for that week according to what I have read so I imagine they have to have employees doing something. I guess the question really comes down to which of us gets lucky enough to get cars shipped before the holidays and which of us will draw the short straws and have our cars spend the holidays in holding.

I've seen around here somewhere that the actual build time is something like 18 hours.

You are correct, 120141217 is on mine too.

I sure hope my EDD changes. Our builds are very similar (except mine is white) but my EDD is not until 21 Jan - a month after yours and Illinois is closer than Florida.
