It's leaded. It'll screw up your O2 sensors because it'll leave deposits on them. Plus, unless you're tuned to take advantage of the extra octane, i.e. have extra timing, boost, and such added, then it's a waste of money to run.

You don't need anymore octane than 93 unless your running some crazy dyno tune and a ton of boost. However if your just itching to spend a little extra money it really won't hurt your car if it not used a lot. I ran a meth kit on my last boosted 4'banger. Methanol has an octane rating of about 105 and the added benefit of cooling your intake charge. Food for thought.

This. 02 sensors would be toast.

Really wanna play that route, you can get high octane unleaded instead and get a tune that would use that octane (more boost and timing). Otherwise, you will lose efficiency and power.

But it'll smell really good.

It's perfectly ok to run 110 leaded, it takes quite a while for leaded to mess up your o2 sensors and wide bands. I speak from years of experience doing exactly what you asked . It took 2.5 years for my wide bands to start showing signs of issues using 110 c16, q16 every weekend at the track. It's not going to harm anything for a 1/4 tank.
I did this to mine a couple months ago and it still smells of amazing race gas while back on 93.

OK sure, but its a waste of money for him to throw it in his tank with a 91 octane tune.

OP, you could have asked this question in your other thread. You don't need a new thread for every question you have. Also, try Google, most of your questions aren't EB Mustang specific and you'll get your answer faster.

again if your not running some radical tune or an 80mm turbo. YOU DONT NEED IT. But if money is no object. I'm sure a shop would love to write you a race gas tune

Get an 110 tune, then run it. Otherwise, there's no point in using it.

And for what's it's worth, I've used leaded over the years too and it screwed a couple O2s up rather quickly. Perhaps it was a difference between brands. YYMV.

His car was tuned using race gas concentrate. If you are planning to spend the money, make sure you know what you're buying. You cannot read enough when it comes to your motor. I've replaced a 4v mod motor, trust me, choose wisely.

Find a dealer that has unleaded race gas. Rocket race fuel is unleaded 100. You can drive right to the pump, It's generally $8.00 a gal. in nc.
