I'm a bit jelly that he has a brand new car and can make it a racekor like that
Regardless of the approach, breaking into the 10's this early with an I4 stang is kewl!

Yeah that's how I feel, I definitely didn't post the thread to be misleading ...I assumed most people already heard of the guy and would obviously know it's not a daily driving ecoboost lol

It reminds me of lms car seat removed cat back removed slicks and race gas tune but yet everyone goes nuts over it. both of these cars in the same class to a certain point that things are removed that most of us will not take off our cars.

Not even close, 1/2 hr of prep that any drag racer will do that's easly reversible vs a full race prep car

I'd definitely remove the passenger seat for track days and will be permanently removing the back seat once a delete kit hits the market. As far as the cat-back, I don't know that I'd pull it just because it's difficult on ramps and the track is a hour away, lol. I'd definitely like to get rid of the resonator though.

There's an article on Svtperf with info and pics. It's a purpose built racecar, but regardless it's impressive.

It IS a purpose built race car, but it's not like they've shed just tons of weight. The things the average street car wouldn't do, ie stereo HVAC etc probably saved 150 lbs or so, but a lot of that is offset by the cage. The car still looks whole... We're probably talking about a 3300lb car still. And that can be obtained in street trim by replacing the seats with sparco sprints, single exhaust etc. It helps if you're not a girl and get the premium package too ;)
