i have an Europe Mustang GT 18 Facelift, but i have some whine noises:



Is that normal?

That sounds like a tensioner or pully in the accessory system. I do not think that is normal. Perhaps an bad bearing in there?

It reminds me of how my C-Class sounded. For that car it was normal and it drove me nuts.

It sounds very tied to the engine RPM and you must be in neutral there.

It sounds so much like my C-Class did but it is hard to tell in the video. That whine was one of the reasons I had gotten rid of the car.

These cars will make some sounds that remind many of turbo blow off when dropping gear in low speeds. Usually the windows need to be down to hear it and it's more of a pleasant sound.

I don't hear anything like your video but I just started the dreaded tick.

Report back what the dealer says.

Sometimes the whine noise is noticeable sometimes not. When the car is cold there is no Noise. I the german forum there are a lot of people with That Noise and the 10 gear.
Do you have in the US no Problems with that noise?

That sounded normal to me other than the ticking. Which seems to be normal. I've noticed it more with the AC running.

I hated the way my C-Class sounded so much I may just be in relief from getting away from that.
