Looking very clean sir.

I'm sorry to hear about the error when the incorrect set was shipped.

Shoot me over your order number and I'll get you set up with some gear because of the trouble!

Alex

Short story—a month back, I was sent a set of four AM 1" spacers. One pair was correct, the other pair had the same box but different spacers inside. RMA’d and got put on the waiting list for the correct spacers. Still on the waiting list and decided to bite the bullet and try the AM 1.5" or 38mm spacers.

Here’s my setup:
15 GT with Performance pack
Stock PP wheels and tires
CJ pony parts lowering springs. Drop (R)1", (F)1.5".
No camber kit but had an alignment done after spring install.
Rear AM 1" spacer and front AM 1.5" spacer

No problems with rub on full turn. Will rub slightly on big dips going at speed. Only tested on city roads, they are a bit harsh. Going to leave it on and test for a few weeks both highway and city driving. I can probably switch the rear spacers to the front and the fronts to the back if rubbing becomes a problem. The wheel is turned a little bit in the last picture which makes it look wider than it really is. Never was into the stance thing; just wanted to see how much of a physical difference it was and of course for reference. Quite happy with the outcome, either way. Hope this helps.

Thank you! Totally not discrediting AM. I’m sure it was an honest mistake by the suppliers. Just a rare instance that it happened. Everything was dealt with swiftly and professionally on AM’s side.

Another random question (obviously the torturous wait is driving crazy) for those who have these spacers; How do you torque the lug nuts on the spacers? I mean, when you put the wheel/tire back on the car you can lower it back down and then torque the lugs. But, won't it just spin if they're up in the air? I do have a couple ideas a.) Lodge something between the seat and brak peddle to keep the brakes on, or b.) Use some sore of pole/board between the wheels studs and the floor to lock it in place.

Parking brake for the rear and a long pry bar on the front through the studs with lug nuts on as to not mess up the threads...

Friend or wife holding the brake while you torque is what I've heard/my plan. That's for the front, rear just set the parking brake.

So how many lbs. of torque are we talking about here?

BTW...I just ordered a 2015 Ingot Silver GT with 3.55's and 6 speed.

Any regrets? Hows the ride?

Got an email this morning saying these are back in stock, but website still doesn't reflect this... Any truth in that or was it a mistake?
