Well, Eibach has 15mm and 20mm but they are quite a bit pricier. I saw a pic earlier today of a GT with 19's and 1" (i.e. 25mm) spacers at stock height...I'm definitely going with 20mm.
Yea $184 for a PAIR... dang :frusty: the look is just that good though. I'll wait until someone makes it cheaper though, the cars still look badass stock:headbang:

Curious what the reason some of you guys think 25mm is too much for factory height? I was going to put these on the rear of my factory height v6 with 20" wheels

Oh I think it might look great. I just haven't seen anyone post the 1 inch spacers with factory height. RubyRed was saying he's going to, but he doesnt have his car yet! I'd love to see it, as I don't know if/when I'll lower my car. Would be nice to buy from AM as well, good product/price. Let me know what yours looks like:) post it up!

ALso why the rears only?

Oh ok, i was wondering if there was a mechanical reason such as the tires wearing excessively inside or something. Im planning on only the rears because I like the very obvious visual appearance between the front and rears on staggered wheels, so this will really make that difference stand out. Also, the guys at AM were telling me the fronts could lead to premature front suspension / joint wear or something a long those lines.

Yea thats whats holding me up as well. Sounds like clearly if you had an issue with the front at all, this would be voiding any warranty coverage. Which is annoying, because I agree it makes the stance that much better.

This was another reason I was thinking 15mm or 20mm, to see if that reduced he wear on the joins/suspension.

It's an optical thing.

Lowering a car will emphasize the effect of wheels that are sitting too much inward of the wheel well. This can be corrected by adding spacers.

On a non lowered car the same wheels will sit equally deep inside the wheel well but the effect will appear to be less. By applying the same width spacers the wheels will actually look slightly more poking. By choosing a slightly thinner spacer the wheels will look more balanced.

It's basically the same thing you have with low profile tires. The bigger the wheel size, the lower the tire, the more the need to lower the car to make it look good.

Got ya.....I want the wider rear poke so 1" it looks like for me......with my 8.5" wheel in the front and my 10" wheel with spacer in the rear, it should be a very noticeable difference which I like

You shouldn't have to order spacers if you run aftermarket wheels, especially a bolt on 1". This is more of a solution for people that do not want to run aftermarket wheels.

Agreed. If you need spacers on your aftermarket wheels then you bought the wrong wheels.

So for me, i have the PP wheels, and i'm exactly what you're talking about. I'd like to keep the rims as I think they look great. I'm not lowering my car yet, but I was looking at spacers.

I read hubcentric you could go a lot thicker than non hubcentric. I'm wondering how harmful it would be to get spacers. 5mm wouldn't be dangerous, but wouldn't really tell a difference right? 20 and 25 mm getting too harmful or is that fine as long as its hubcentric?

I believe 20" AMR / PP wheels are designed to fit the same way factory PP wheels fit (obv the 10" is a tad wider), so they are not as aggressive as a lot of aftermarket wheel offerings, but I wouldnt call that buying the "wrong" wheels

This is what I got going on now with the 20x8.5 in the front and the 20x10 in the rear, I think a little extra rear poke will be perfect

Yea man I think that looks really good. I'll stick with the stock PP tires/rims, as I don't mind the 1 inch difference and I don't want to deal with selling mine.

I'm just looking to make my stock PP rims/tires look like yours do. very flush to the car, as of now they're tucked in quite a bit. not a big deal, just on my list of wishes:cheers: nice lookin car
