Anybody swap to a 1 piece DS for track days? Will the stock DS hold up to high speeds down the straights at Road Atlanta?

The stocker will hold up to track speeds, repetitively. My eco has about a 135mph top speed on both straights at VIR, and there was a GT running around the same. He has 2 weekends on the car with no issues, and I'm up to about 4 days total at the track as well.

I'm sure every cars driveshaft is tested to be good at the factory speed limiter's speed. If you have not removed your factory speed limiter you have nothing to worry about.

I'd like to know how beneficial a lightweight DS might be to HPDE's, if anyone has any input.

Is it true that a carbon fiber DS will improve mileage as well?
