What would you guys buy/mod if you were in my boat? '15 5.0, 6MT, 3:31's in the rear. The aftermarket is damn near limitless for these cars so I'm almost overwhelmed with options haha.

Also, I bought my car with 6,6xx miles on it. Will the dealer cover any fitment issues with the interior and exterior of the car? I've noticed that the passenger side A-pillar is loose, the rear bumper is protruding on the left side, the hood looks like it's about to jump open above 65mph.. There's more, I just can't think of it right now.

I start with appearance stuff:

Springs
Garage line spacers
Steeda jacking rails (helps to get the car in the air, don't screw up pinch welds)
Anchor room tint products
JLT engine and coil cover paint

MGW shifter: Approx $475
JMS Pedalmax:$245
Hood Struts: $80-100
LED interior lights: $30
Dashcam: Price vary $200-350
Tinted windows: $150-300

I would say catback exhaust, but that leaves no room for other mods.

Should have negotiated the panel gap issues with the dealer while buying the car. I'd say catback, but your budget is damn tight. Doesn't leave room for much, and all these smaller mods aren't really going to change much at all.

I've got a muffler delete on the car right now and while it's no cat-back, I'll admit, it sounds good enough to do the job for now. --->

As far as the gaps and fitment issues, it wasn't something I noticed until a couple days later honestly. My friends are actually the ones who pointed out the issues to me. I was under the assumption that this is something that would be covered under the "bumper to bumper" warranty? I purchased the vehicle through a Dodge dealership that's an affiliate of the main Ford dealership here in San Diego and the Dodge dealership has TERRIBLE customer service.

You need to decide if you want appearance. Performance or a combo of them. I personally choose performance first then looks. The only way to know if the dealer will fix your issues is to take it in. I would think that those problems are covered under the 3 year 36k warranty.

Here's what I did.
Steeda CAI $300 used
SCT X4 $200 used
Tune $200
Barton short throw shifter $300 guy bought it and changed his mind
Corsa Extream $1100

I found most of my mods on this site in the for sale section. If you have a plan you can stay with in you $1200 dollar budget. Good luck

Any specific brand of springs to go with? The options are vast. I despise the stock 18's and I'm hoping that a drop will make them more tolerable, aesthetically speaking. Also, just for future reference, what is the widest rear tire I can fit on the stock 18's? I've already got tint, so we can check that off the list. I also got some vinyl from a local vendor for some of the parts on the car.

MGW shifter: Approx $475
JMS Pedalmax:$245
Hood Struts: $80-100
LED interior lights: $30
Dashcam: Price vary $200-350
Tinted windows: $150-300

I don't mind the hood stand too much, at least not enough to the point where I can justify spending more than a couple bucks on hydraulic struts..

Lund Tune with nGauge and JLT CAI.
This is what I was inclined to go with and just adding springs on top for not too much more (~$200). From what I'm reading, these cars can shoot up to ~410whp with the CAI and tune? Any specific reason to go with JLT instead of another brand?

Thanks for all the help so far guys!

In all honesty, I'd probably classify performance as priority over aesthetics aside from the wheel gap. Seems that tunes and CAI's here are highly debated so I'm having a hard time choosing. The Lund nGauge with the in-vent mount does look very appealing though!

~ Upper cowl brace + strut bar ($180.)
~ Drop-in K&N filter ($55.)
~ Two Post Shifter Bracket ($130.)
~ Steeda Rear Sub-frame Support Brace ($200.)
~ Short Throw Shifter ($475.)

......be prepared to spend more, it's an addiction.. :-)

I was looking into chassis mods, what would you say gives the most noticeable improvement? And I definitely understand the addiction part, I was looking forward to it before I even bought the car :ford:

I have a brand new cowel brace and a used (~12k miles) strut tower brace I would be willing to part with if wanted.

Roush axleback
Cold air intake
Tune
Is the Roush axle back a noticeable step-up in terms of volume? Exhaust doesn't seem to do much on these cars but if it sounds good I'll consider it!

Springs, tune, and cai.
That's what my gut's telling me to do. But like I stated before, there's so many options that I want to be sure I'm not missing out choosing one brand over another. After looking over the thread, my rough draft of a plan is to get a JLT CAI, nGauge tune with in-vent mount and springs. I haven't chosen a brand springs yet and I haven't 100% on JLT vs Steeda for example. Anyone have any experiences they'd like to share with different CAIs, Tunes and springs? Thanks!
