1.09 G.

That is the maximum lateral acceleration I'm able to get (with traction control on) from my GT before it pushes.

:D

How do you zero out the accelerometer. This is how mine always reads.

it reads that way because it keeps the highest recorded numbers till you reset it.

I have tried to reset it and couldn't get it to. Not sure I know the right way to reset it I guess looked in owners manual and didn't see were it would say how to reset it.

Scroll through the track apps screen, the reset is near the bottom I think.

It automatically updates once you reach a higher number. You don't need to reset it unless those numbers are old and higher than you think you're getting now.

Both your laterals look good but you need to work on that acceleration!

No kidding! This was a spirited drive, though, not a track and I still am not comfortable with drag launches.

I will say, though, that those giant-ass Brembos have a TON of bite.

i have done a couple autocross events and 1.09 is about the max i usually pull on the left as well, and 1.0 on the right. I guess the layouts are harder turns to one side than the other.

A long time ago Hot Rod Magazine did a project build: Project Monte1Go.

The idea was to take a Montego and beef it up to run 1.0G in all directions. It was very ambitious and really quite cool -- and now we're damn near there (if not better than) with bone-stock automobiles.

That's incredibly awesome.
