I do think Ford is definitely afraid of cannibalizing EB sales tho which is why they only offer V6 base. Still great car.

ford advertises the v6 from 11-14 with 93 octane numbers...but for 15 they use 87 numbers....if they fully advertised and optioned the 6 more people would choose it

I really wish I could've ordered a V6 car optioned the way I did my EB. I'm curious to see a some performance numbers. Zack, Want to make use of that track apps feature and give us a 0-60 time? Hopefully you're broken in by now.

I was just thinking the same thing. Were the '11-'14 cars tested on 93 and the '15 tested on 87, and that made some difference in MPG? The new differential ratio will have some negative effect on mileage too, but the S-550 is more aerodynamic which will help on the highway. I wonder how much of the drop is attributed to the fuel used.

Come on you 3.7 V6 Bashers, chime in......lmao.

Well if you look at the difference from a V6 to a EB or GT premium, there isn't that much difference in the cars...the base car itself is pretty similar across the board.

If the drive modes can be done after market and with a PCM or some sort of code change, then we are talking.

My 3.7 on 87 gets me 22avg on 91 I get 23.5 and after a 91 race tune +cai I'm getting over 25 avg while driving more spiritidely

Yes, similar to their stating that artificially manufactured engine sounds are piped into the EB cabin via the stereo speakers in order to create a more authentic experience.
