Torrie worked on my E30 tune with me yesterday. It was so hot that it became obvious that I need an intercooler, which will be within the next week or so. That being said...
Today it was cloudy, around 80*, 95IAT in the dash, and on and off drizzle. Road was a little wet but dry enough that I wanted to see what the tune was like 0-60.
4.9 seconds. Previous best was 5.2 in much cooler air and dry pavement.
Broke the 5 second barrier with t/c on, leaving off idle (no boost). I rolled onto the throttle and it rocketed. Second hit and T/C intervened but the car just kept going.
I cannot wait until I can get this thing cooling down and for my tires to come in next week. This tune is destroying these stock 235's! Once I get the 275's out back I will be leaving on some boost and expect to see a good drop in time.
This car will be primarily a auto-x machine but this little quest is so much fun!
As the story goes, Torrie is the man.
